Sebring Return on Deck for Taylor Hagler
IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge (IMPC) driver Taylor Hagler returns to Sebring International Raceway for the Alan Jay Automotive Network 120 on Friday, March 19th (TrackPass; 2:35PM ET). Hagler and teammate Michael Lewis will wheel the No. 77 Bryan Herta Autosport (BHA) Hyundai Veloster N TCR for the two-hour race as they look to build on their strong debut outing together at Daytona.
The trip to the south central Florida circuit marks Hagler’s third visit to Sebring in the past five months. Her first outing was the 2020 IMSA season finale which saw Hagler score a top-five finish in IMSA TCR competition. Her most recent visit was just two weeks ago as the BHA crew tested the No. 77 Hyundai in preparation for the second round of the 2021 IMSA season.
Hagler started the 2021 campaign on a high note at Daytona International Speedway, finishing fourth after coming just 0.333-seconds away from a run to the podium.
“Having the opportunity to fight for a win at Sebring is exciting,” said Hagler. “The Hyundai is well suited for the old school track and we know the car and the BHA crew are a powerful combination. Now having some experience at Sebring, I feel confident pushing myself and the car to its full potential. We had a great test a few weeks ago and I am ready to use that progress this weekend.”
Practice for the second round of the IMPC kicks off on Wednesday, March 17th with qualifying on Thursday. The Alan Jay Automotive Network 120 will go green Friday, March 19th at 2:35PM ET with live coverage on TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold.
